What are you grateful for?

What are you grateful for?

"Be thankful for what you have and you will end up with more" - Oprah Winfrey

Its so easy to dwell on the negative in life but taking time to acknowledge the positive in your life can have great impacts on your mental health. It can make you a happier, healthier and a more optimistic person. Taking time to reflect on your life and acknowledging what you are grateful for can help you gain perspective on what is important to you.

Journaling is a great way to organize thoughts and feelings, gain perspective and document what you are grateful for. Keeping a Gratitude Journal encourages you to take time out each day to reflect on your thoughts and experiences and focus on the positive.

The more you focus on your positive feelings and experiences, the more happiness you will attract into your life. By pausing to identify what you are thankful for can have a positive impact. When you focus your attention on the positive things, events and people in your life, you encourage your own happiness and well-being.

Keeping a Gratitude Journal can help you take control, reduce stress, improve quality of sleep and increase motivation.

It only takes a few minutes a day to complete your journal (or even less that that!) Gratitude happens when you notice small pleasures in your life. The things that often go unnoticed or unappreciated. By stopping to acknowledge them it helps you to put everything into perspective and brings you into the present moment.
