From Laura – Spritz Wellness

I didn't create Spritz Wellness to sell products. I created it because I couldn't find what I needed.

As a yoga teacher living between London and the West Sussex coast, I was already building a life around intentional movement, natural ingredients, and the kind of small daily rituals that genuinely shift how you feel. I wanted a yoga mat spray that cleaned without chemicals and smelled like something worth inhaling. A sleep spray that actually worked. A bath ritual that felt restorative rather than rushed. And a proper eye pillow for Savasana — something beautiful enough to use in my own practice and generous enough to share with my students.

When I couldn't find them, I designed them myself.

Everything Starts With Use

Everything in the Spritz Wellness range exists because I use it. And as the seasons change, so does how I use it. I exfoliate more in summer, reach for different soaps in winter, layer rituals in and out depending on what my body needs. This isn't a fixed prescription. It's a living practice.

Here's what it looks like right now.

Energise Body Scrub – Spritz Wellness

Morning — Skin, Senses & Preparation

I cleanse and exfoliate using the Spritz Wellness Exfoliate Soap and Body Scrub. This isn't vanity, it's physiology. Exfoliating in the morning stimulates circulation, clears away what the skin processed overnight, and wakes the senses. It takes three minutes and it changes the quality of the hour that follows.

Yoga Practice — Mat, Scent & Stillness

I practice and teach yoga almost every day. I don't always practice for long — sometimes twenty minutes is everything — but always with the same opening ritual.

Before I begin, I mist my mat with the Spritz Wellness Yoga Mat Spray. Right now I'm using the Clarity blend most mornings — Tea Tree, Lemongrass, Bergamot, Sandalwood, and Vetiver — because the scent grounds me before I've taken a single breath.

In the evenings, when I practice yin, I light a Spritz Wellness Candle alongside it. Scent and flame together create something a bare room simply can't: a signal that this is dedicated time, not a gap between tasks.

I end every practice by placing my Aromatherapy Eye Pillow over my eyes during Savasana. The gentle weight activates the vagal nerve response — the body's own mechanism for shifting from sympathetic to parasympathetic mode. I also never teach without one.

Afternoon — Grounding & Nourishment

Somewhere in the afternoon, I stop. I make a cup of Spritz Wellness Tea and I don't drink it at my desk. That's the rule. Herbal tea is one of the oldest wellness rituals in existence, and there's a reason it has endured. Warmth, botanical ingredients, and the simple act of sitting down with something intentional in your hands is quietly regulating — in a way that's easy to underestimate until you actually try it.

Sleep — The Ritual I Protect Most

Sleep is where everything is repaired — physically, emotionally, neurologically. I treat the hour before sleep as the most important hour of my day.

I mist my pillow and the air around my bed with the Spritz Wellness Sleep Atmosphere Mist — Lavender, Mandarin, Ravensara, and Chamomile. I've done this every night for years. The scent has become such a deeply conditioned cue for my nervous system that I can feel my body begin to soften as I spray it.

I sleep with the Spritz Wellness Eye Mask to block light completely. And across my chest, I place my Spritz Wellness Wheat Bag. The gentle, grounding weight across the sternum activates the body's pressure receptors in a way that is deeply calming. For anyone who carries anxiety or tension in the chest — this is the thing I recommend above almost everything else.

What I've Learned After Years of This

Wellness isn't a product or a trend. It's a practice, and products are only useful insofar as they support that practice consistently.

What the Spritz Wellness range does is remove the friction from ritual. The mat spray means I never have to think about whether my mat is clean before I begin. The sleep spray means I don't have to work to wind down — the scent does it for me.

When the ritual is easy, you do it. When you do it consistently, it works. That's the whole idea. That's always been the whole idea.

Questions I'm Often Asked

These are the questions that come up most, from students in class, from people new to aromatherapy, and from those who are simply wondering where to begin.

Do I need to use all the products to feel the benefit?

No — and I'd actively discourage starting with everything at once. Begin with one ritual, whichever feels most needed. For most people that's sleep. One product used consistently will do more for you than five used occasionally.

What would you recommend for someone new to aromatherapy?

The Sleep Mist, without hesitation. Spray it on your pillow every night for two weeks — just that one thing — and see what happens.

How long does it take to feel a difference?

For sleep, most people notice a shift within a week of consistent use. For yoga, the benefit is immediate — the scent shifts the quality of the space before you've moved a muscle. For skin, two to three weeks of consistent exfoliation makes a visible difference.

Is this realistic for a busy life?

Yes — because none of it adds time. It replaces what you're already doing (showering, sleeping, bathing) with a more intentional version of the same thing. The only investment is consistency.
