A Guide to Moroccan Rose Incense
A classic, rich floral built for slow evenings. Here is how to get the most from it, scent notes, burn tips and a small ritual to make it your own.
Moroccan Rose is the warmer, more romantic half of our Luxury Incense range, hand-dipped in the UK and presented in a glass tube of ten. It is less a scent you notice and more a scent you settle into, bright at first, then slowly warming as it burns.

The Scent, Note by Note
Moroccan Rose opens bright, with rose buds, orange blossom and a touch of citrus. As it settles, it softens into geranium, patchouli, jasmine and lily at the heart, before resting on a warm base of cedarwood, sandalwood, musk and vetiver. It is a scent that unfolds rather than announces itself, more lingering warmth than sharp floral.

How to Burn It Well
Light the tip and let the flame catch for a few seconds, then blow out gently to leave a glowing ember. Place the stick in a heatproof holder on a flat surface, away from draughts and anything flammable. Each stick burns for up to 60 minutes, so there is no need to rush the ritual.
A few minutes of stillness while the smoke rises is often enough to reset. Use it to mark the start of a yoga practice, an evening, before a bath, a book, or the last hour before bed.

Keep sticks upright and away from soft furnishings while burning, always use a heatproof holder, and never leave a lit stick unattended.
Tips for Getting the Most From It
Light it twenty minutes before guests arrive, rose incense is a gentle, welcoming scent for a hallway or living room. Pair it with a warm bath or an evening wind-down, the floral warmth suits rest better than focus. Store spare sticks in their glass tube, away from direct sunlight, to keep the scent and colour consistent.
