What to Sleep in During the Summer: Tips for a Cool and Comfortable Night

Summer nights can be a double-edged sword: the days are longer and often filled with  activities, but the nights can be unbearably hot, making it difficult to get a good night's rest. I feel choosing the right sleepwear is essential for staying cool and comfortable. Here are some tips to pick the best options for summer sleeping.

Lightweight fabrics are definitely key. When it comes to summer sleepwear, the fabric is your most important consideration. Opt for lightweight, breathable materials that allow air to circulate and wick away sweat like a cotton or linen. Avoid silk, while luxurious, silk doesn’t absorb moisture well and can stick to your skin when you sweat.

Its important to choose the right style of sleepwear. Definitely loose fitting is key. I have been wearing this loose fitting cotton short set from British Boxers lately and love them! They also wash really well compared to other cotton sets i've tried. 

 

Also don’t forget to consider sleep accessories like cooling blankets, all natural sleep spray to add aromatherapy and an eye mask. By paying attention to the materials and fit of your pyjamas, as well as incorporating cooling accessories, you can ensure a restful and comfortable night's sleep, even on the hottest summer nights. Which in the UK are few but when it gets hot, you will be prepared!
