Get Your Body Ready for Summer: A Guide to Self-Care

Posted by Laura Colucci on

Summer is just around the corner, and it’s time to prepare your body for those sunny days at the beach, summer dresses and warm nights under the stars.

One of the best ways to get ready for the season is by indulging in some self-care rituals that will leave your skin glowing and your mind relaxed.

Pamper yourself with body scrubs, bath salts, exfoliating soaps, and a soothing eye mask for a restful sleep.

Body Scrubs:

Start your summer prep by exfoliating your skin with a luxurious body scrub. Not only does exfoliation remove dead skin cells, but it also promotes circulation and leaves your skin feeling soft and smooth. Spritz Wellness has two luxurious sugar scrubs.

The Relax Body Scrub has the soothing scents of rose geranium, lavender and hibiscus and the nourishing oils of argan, vitimin e, grapeseed and calendula.

The Energise Body Scrub is enriched with the revitalising ingredients of coffee powder, lemon, eucalyptus and peppermint.

Bath Salts:

After a long day, there is nothing quite like a soak in the tub with some aromatic bath salts. Bath salts not only help to relax tired muscles but also detoxify the skin and promote a sense of well-being.  Try the Spritz Wellness Relax Bath Salts infused with lavender and chamomile.

Exfoliating Soaps:

Incorporate exfoliating soaps into your daily shower routine to keep your skin radiant all summer long. These soaps help to slough away dead skin cells, leaving your skin looking fresh and rejuvenated. Spritz Wellness has three all nautal body soaps with exfoliating properties.

Restore Body SoapNatural soap enriched with coconut and olive oil.  Infused with the fresh scents of lemon and May Chang and the exfoliating properties of poppy seeds.

Exfoliate Body Soap: Soften and rejuvenate the skin with fine coffee grounds to rid the skin of dry, dead skin cells and restore it to a more radiant and smooth appearance. Natural soap enriched with coconut and olive oil.  Infused with the  fresh scents of rosemary, lemon and tea tree.

Joy Body Soap: Leave skin feeling moisturised and soft. All natural body soap infused with the joyful warm sweet scents of cinnamon, nutmeg, sweet orange and exfoliating properties of ground cloves.

Aromatherapy Eye Mask for Sleep:

A good night's sleep is essential for overall well-being, especially during the summer months when days are longer and activities are more abundant. Treat yourself to an eye mask infused with the calming scent of lavender to help you drift off into a peaceful slumber. Blocking out light can also signal to your brain that it’s time to rest, helping you fall asleep faster and stay asleep longer.

Few more things to consider...

Consistency is key: Incorporate these self-care rituals into your routine regularly for the best results.

Hydrate: Drink plenty of water to keep your skin hydrated from the inside out. Try adding an electrolyte for added hydration.

Protect your skin: Don't forget to apply sunscreen before heading out into the sun to protect your newly rejuvenated skin.

With the right self-care routine, you can have your body feeling and looking its best for the summer ahead. Whether you’re indulging in a relaxing bath with bath salts, scrubbing away dead skin with a body scrub, or soothing your eyes with an eye mask for sleep, these small acts of self-care will leave you feeling refreshed and ready to embrace the season with confidence.
